As a bowler, Sundar has delivered in 64 innings and taken 40 wickets. His best bowling figures in a single match are 3 wickets for 16 runs. While these numbers show that he can play a supporting role effectively, they also highlight the unusual aspect of his career—he has never taken more than three wickets in a match and has never reached the milestone of ten wickets in a single IPL season.
